Tipping is never expected, but is always appreciated. Tipping 15%-20% of the trip price is typical, but of course, we always recommend tipping based off your experience with us. Please let us know what you liked or disliked about your experience at the end of your trip. We are always striving to be better and to provide a more enjoyable experience for our customers.
Are kids allowed on trips?
Yes, kids are always welcome on the trips to fish. We usually recommend bringing kids on the 6 hour snapper trips where they have the best chance to catch fish and make lasting memories.
Do I get a refund if the weather is bad on the day of our trip?
We consistently watch the weather and will be in touch with you as early as possible to reschedule your trip if unsafe weather arises.
*WE DO NOT GO ON TRIPS IF THERE IS A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY*
In the event of undesirable/unsafe weather, we can either keep your deposit and you can reschedule to a different day or we will refund your deposit and cancel the trip. Weather in the Gulf can be unpredictable, but we usually know how the weather will be about 3 days prior to your trip.
What is your refund/cancellation policy?
You have the option to cancel or reschedule your trip up to 7 days before the scheduled trip without losing your deposit. If you want to reschedule to a different day, we will keep your deposit and that will act as the deposit for the new trip date. Of course, there are always exceptions to the cancellation policy, so please speak with your captain if there has been a family emergency or any other extenuating circumstances so we can return your deposit to you.
What happens if I get seasick during the trip?
The Gulf can get rough, so we always recommend taking seasickness medication before your trip. We can cut the trip short if someone gets seasick, but we base our prices off the distance we travel offshore and the cost of fuel, so please keep in mind, you will be charged the price of the fuel that is used and refunded the remaining amount.
Can the length of the trip be changed?
ABSOLUTELY! If you are having a blast catching fish and want to extend your trip, talk to the Captain to see if its possible. If you want to end your trip early, the price of the trip would not change.
